Privacy Policy
Stub (“we”, “us”) is a personal watch-card notebook. This policy explains what information we handle on your device.
Information We Process
- A local profile created when you continue into the app, including your avatar photo if you set one.
- Handmade covers, ticket-stub photos, ratings, watch dates, short notes, 20-second voice remarks, comments, favorites, and theme-list choices. These stay on this device.
- Coins balance stored on this device for consumable frame, sticker, cover, and HD export unlocks.
- Purchase receipts processed by Apple for in-app consumable Coins packs.
- An Apple Push Notification device token if you allow notifications, stored on this device for list-update and export-complete alerts.
How We Use Information
We use this information on your device to operate Stub: make watch cards, file them into official theme lists, play a voice remark attached to a card, comment in text, export a card image, and complete Coins purchases.
Device Permissions
- Camera — Stub uses the camera to capture a handmade cover photo in the Create journal when you tap Camera.
- Photo Library — Stub uses Photos to choose a handmade cover photo for the Create journal, or a profile photo on Shelf, when you tap Library or the avatar.
- Microphone — Stub uses the microphone to record a 20-second watch note in the Create journal when you tap Record. Voice is attached only to that card. There is no live chat.
- Notifications — optional list-update and export-complete alerts after a later prompt, separate from tracking.
- App Tracking — Apple’s tracking prompt after you tap Continue on first launch. If allowed, Stub may use a device identifier to measure list-feature ads. Declining tracking does not block make, browse, comment, or export.
Declining a permission only disables the related feature. The rest of the notebook still works.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Watch cards remain on this device. Stub does not crawl studio posters or film databases.
